The House Gets a Facelift!

I last posted to the blog at the end of June, but decided to update everyone with what's been going on around here for the past month.  The roof got a couple of new coats of paint and the outside walls of the house have begun to be painted.

The coat of primer paint has been applied to the main walls and the final coat has been started. Unfortunately, the weather has been wet for the past several days and painting has had to be stopped until things clear up again.

Also, a security railing was placed around the higher ends of the new patio, this past week, and should help to keep me from falling off as I go up there to take my weather picture each day!

I'll post again when the house is completely painted and there will be another post or two because we need to fix a boundary wall and also build a structure to place the weekly trash in.  I was hoping the kids could have moved in sooner, but the final details at the end of a building project seem to take the longest to get done.

Keep checking back!
