Busy Tuesday

All hands on deck first thing this morning and much was accomplished.  The remaining rubble was removed from the pit and the dividing wall was built.  I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get a picture of the completed wall, but the following pictures show how it began.

Tony stacks the block for easy access
Luis and Tony build the center wall

Since this is a fairly large project, the guys always multi-task throughout the day.  Before focusing on the center wall of the pit, the guys were forming up the two end walls of the window-well and poured concrete for support.

The lower foundation form work in the window-well

At the same time, Johnny was jack hammering the remaining outside foundation where Jason and Tina's master bedroom will be located.

Troy, the electrician, was here again this evening to get a few more things put in place.  Every few days, he and I seem to start the evening off by trying to remember how many pieces of conduit we have to run out of the main box in my office to get cable tv, internet and phone lines where they need to go before the ceiling gets installed.  I think we're up to 8 lines already!

There are six 4-plug electrical boxes for my radio equipment - no more extension cords!
Just a few more electrical lines to the panel box and we should be done

Well, it's 10:20pm now and time to call it a day.  I'm expecting tomorrow to be busy again, so be sure to come back and see what happens!
