Swift Saturday

Today sure went by quickly and tomorrow will be even quicker - well, at least one hour quicker - thanks to Daylight Savings Time!

I spent some time on Skype with my mate, Scott, this morning and got the video post working.  However, I may have to re-think the sequence of using video for future posts in order to avoid some of the extra coding work I had to do.

After updating yesterday's post with the added video, I went down to the "dungeon" and painted the 3 windows, as well as the back wall in the radio room, with primer.  The primer needed to be put on the new plaster in order to seal everything from any possible water leakage.

No other construction work was planned for today, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the roofing carpenters here at 3pm.  They wanted to get a head start on the job because the weather outlook is somewhat uncertain for the next couple of days.  The guys took the initial measurements for the structure, then cut up some of the lumber to get ready for building.  If the weather cooperates, they'll be back tomorrow afternoon to start the roof construction.
