Windows & More!

The weather keeps getting better and better each day, as we begin the Spring season.  Of course, we do need the rain and I'm trying to have it scheduled for the days that the guys aren't here on the job!

Window installation was the main focus this morning, with all 3 of the "dungeon" windows and the 2 windows in the stairway being installed.  The caulking remains to be done and I imagine that will happen on Friday, when the guys return (they headed back to the hospital project, this afternoon, and will be there again tomorrow).

The radio room ceiling was also installed today and a start was made on the downstairs bedroom ceiling.

The side walls for the outside steps just needed to be plastered today and that was completed before noon.

After the windows were installed, Johnny went back to some plumbing work for the master bathroom.  Once that work, as well as the pipe for the electricity, has been done, the concrete slab can be poured.  So far, the target date for that is Monday.  Chris also jack hammered out more of the garage floor, so a little "music for the ears" during the morning!

The guys are not supposed to be here tomorrow, but a couple of them may possibly show up at some point if they aren't needed on the hospital project for the entire day.  So, check back to see if there is another post before Friday night.
